I wanted to paint something on a dark canvas. I like this painting and how it makes it seem like the lion has come out of the pitch black and in your face. You'll notice a touch of color in the eyes.
I've been an emergency physician for over twenty years. My experiences over the years have molded how I see and appreciate the beauty of the world.
